Isaac Miller-Crews, PhD

Indiana University Bloomington
Common Themes in Reproductive Diversity (CTRD)

Research

I am interested in harnessing comparative and integrative approaches to understand the evolution of social behavior. I aim to explore the roles and evolution of neuroendocrine gene networks in the regulation of reproduction and sexual-dimorphisms that arise, all within ethologically-relevant contexts.

About

I’m a current a postdoctoral fellow in the CTRD program at Indiana University Bloomington working in the Rosvall and Hahn labs.

I got my PhD from the University of Texas, Austin in the Hofmann Lab. After receiving my undergraduate degree from UT Austin, I spent two years at the National Institute of Health (NIH) before returning for my PhD.

Outside of work I like to play soccer, go fishing, and read science fiction and fantasy books. Many thanks to my canine muse, Cnemi.
